Blatchford Moulded Seat Inserts are moulded seat inserts used to give support and pressure relief to those who spend a lot of time in a seated or supine position as a result of limited lower extremity mobility. The inserts are made from a high-density polyethylene that is crack-resistant and has a layer of medium density foam for comfort.

Moulded seat inserts can either be a backrest only or can be a full seat that can be attached to a compatible wheelchair or wheelbase. The Blatchford’s Adaptable Interfacing System (BAIS) can be used to attach the insert, and they are also compatible with V-Trak and AEL interfacing options.
